Easter 2008

What a beautiful day, celebrating the Resurrection of Our Lord!  The church service was wonderful and we had a lovely lunch/Easter Egg hunt at the Heltons (Gammy and Pops). Following that we went to dinner at my parents...it was a great day!!! Some pics follow, Lilly Gayle is egg hunting in the Heltons backyard....she took it very seriously!

JUST A WORD ON THE PICS OF MY GRANDAD, BIG GANNYA.  AS MOST OF YOU KNOW MY BELOVED GRANDMOTHER, GAYLE, DIED TWO YEARS AGO.  MY GRANDAD DROVE 12 HOURS FROM MEMPHIS TO SPEND A WEEK WITH US. AS HARD AS IT IS TO SEE HIM WITHOUT HER, WE HAD A WONDERFUL VISIT AND HE ENJOYED SEEING LITTLE GANNYA'S NAMESAKE, LILLY GAYLE!

ST. PATRICKS DAY CELEBRATION

AS EVERYONE KNOWS, ST. PATTY'S DAY IS A BIG DAY DOWN HERE IN SAVANNAH.  WE WERE AT THE PARADE FROM 7:00 AM TO 3:00 PM YESTERDAY....ALL THE KIDS HAD A BLAST, AS SO DID THE PARENTS :)   HERE ARE JUST A FEW OF THE HIGHTLIGHTS:

Lilly Gayle is getting so big.....she is such a little girl now as these pictures will show you. She is learning her colors as well as pointing at us and telling us "No....."  hmmm, we have a lot of disciplining ahead of us, i see.
